EXAMPLE META MEDIA BUYER TASK

Objective:
Demonstrate your ability to create an effective Meta (Facebook) lead generation campaign, including ad copywriting, campaign setup, and targeting strategy.

 

Client Description/Offer:

The client is a fitness gym targeting ages 21-45, both male and female with a 5 mile radius of Bondi, NSW (Australia). The goal is to generate leads through a Facebook lead generation campaign offering a 14 Day Free Trial

 

Task Requirements:
Please prepare a document that includes the following:
1. Campaign Structure

  • Suggested Campaign Name
  • Campaign Objective
  • Number of Ad Sets and Ads (explain your reasoning)

 

2. Target Audience

  • Detailed audience targeting (location, age, gender, interests, behaviours, exclusions if any)
  • Brief explanation of why you chose this audience

 

3. Ad Copy & Creative

  • Primary Text (main ad copy)
  • Headline
  • Call-To-Action Button (e.g. Sign Up, Learn More)
  • Creative concept (describe the type of image/video you would use; you can provide example visuals or references if you wish)

4. Lead Form Setup

  • Key questions you would include in the Instant Form
  • Any additional custom questions you would ask
  • Brief explanation of how you would minimise form drop-off

 

5. Performance Expectations

  • What key metrics would you monitor?
  • Brief explanation of what a successful campaign would look like to you

 

⚙️ Optional Bonus:

If you have experience using Meta Ads Manager, feel free to provide screenshots of a draft campaign setup (not required but would be highly regarded).
