What is the difference between Google & Facebook Ads?
At LBD Marketing, we offer both Facebook & Google Ads.
However, the strategy for each is different. Here is why:
Facebook Ads
- When running Facebook ads, your audience isn’t asking to see your ad. You are targeting people who you think are a good fit.
- Because of this, your offer needs to have a WOW factor. You need to approach your offer as if you are saying “I know you didn't ask for this, but here is an offer that you can’t refuse”.
- Facebook ads are great for scaling, because if you do have a great offer you can expand to a larger audience than Google.
- Facebook ads are also great for retargeting traffic from Google ads or other traffic sources.
Google Ads
- When running Google ads, your potential customer is actively searching for your product by entering a keyword relevant to your product and service.
- This generally means that the lead can be warmer, however your offer still needs to be good to compete with the other competitors ads also showing.
- You will also need a quality landing page to capture leads. Don’t stress about this, we include the landing page creation free of charge.
- If you want to run video ads via Youtube, these are managed via Google Ads. However, as they are interruption ads (like Facebook) the offer needs to be enough to stop them watching the video they originally clicked on.

Whilst this is completely up to you, we recommend a minimum of $20 per day.
